Refund policy
Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any questions about your order, a return, or a refund, please contact us at:
Email: homewearsupport@gmail.com
1. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects or limits your legal rights under UK consumer law.
Our customers have statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, defective, not as described, or not fit for their intended purpose.
Where applicable, these rights may include a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction depending on the circumstances and the applicable legal requirements.
These rights apply regardless of whether an item was purchased at full price, discounted or on sale.
2. Our 20-day returns policy
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 20-day returns policy for eligible purchases.
You may request a return within 20 days of receiving your order.
For returns made under our voluntary 20-day returns policy, items should normally be returned in their original condition, with tags and original packaging where reasonably possible.
This voluntary 20-day policy does not affect your statutory cancellation rights or any other legal rights you may have.
3. Your statutory 14-day cancellation right
If you purchase goods from us online, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.
Where an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period generally begins when you receive the final item.
If you wish to exercise your statutory cancellation right, you must clearly inform us that you wish to cancel your order. You can do this by contacting us at:
After informing us that you wish to cancel, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
You may handle the goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way you would reasonably be able to inspect them in a shop.
If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and their value has been reduced as a result, we may be entitled to make a deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
4. Refunds without requiring a return
Depending on the circumstances of your request, we may choose to issue a refund without requiring you to return the item.
For example, where returning an item is not necessary or would be disproportionate, we may allow you to keep the item and issue a full or partial refund.
Where we offer a refund without requiring the item to be returned, we will confirm this with you.
A decision to issue a refund without requiring a return is made on a case-by-case basis and does not remove or restrict any statutory rights you may have.
Where the law requires goods to be returned as part of exercising a statutory right, the applicable return requirements will still apply unless we expressly tell you that you do not need to return the goods.
5. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed items
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your order:
-
arrives damaged;
-
is faulty or defective;
-
is not the item you ordered;
-
is materially different from its description; or
-
does not do what it is reasonably expected to do.
Please contact us at homewearsupport@gmail.com and include your order number and, where appropriate, photographs or other evidence of the issue.
Please do not send an item back before contacting us and receiving return instructions.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, we may:
-
issue a full or partial refund;
-
provide a replacement;
-
arrange another appropriate remedy; or
-
ask you to return the item.
In some circumstances, we may issue a refund without requiring the item to be returned.
If a return is required because an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will provide you with appropriate return instructions and will not require you to bear costs that we are legally required to cover.
6. Change-of-mind returns
If you simply change your mind about an online purchase, your statutory 14-day cancellation right may apply.
If you exercise that right, you are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise or another legal rule requires us to cover the cost.
We will provide you with the appropriate return instructions if a return is required.
However, we may choose to offer a refund without requiring the goods to be returned.
7. Refunds
Where you are legally entitled to a refund, we will process the refund without undue delay and within the timeframe required by applicable law.
For statutory cancellations, where applicable, refunds will generally be made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that you have returned them, whichever is earlier, subject to the applicable legal requirements.
Where required by law, your refund will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option available when you placed your order. Additional costs paid for a more expensive delivery option do not generally have to be refunded.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless we agree otherwise with you.
Please allow additional time for your payment provider or bank to process the refund after w
e agree otherwise with you.
Please allow additional time for your payment provider or bank to process the refund after we have issued it.
8. Items excluded from the statutory cancellation right
Certain types of goods may be excluded from the statutory 14-day cancellation right where an exemption under UK consumer law applies.
Depending on the product, this can include certain:
- goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
- goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed.
Where a statutory cancellation exemption applies to a particular product, this will be made clear before you place your order.
Even where a statutory cancellation exemption applies, your other statutory rights are not removed. For example, goods must still comply with applicable requirements concerning description, quality and fitness for purpose.
9. Sale and discounted items
Sale, promotional and discounted items are not automatically excluded from your statutory rights.
If a sale item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of UK consumer law, you retain the applicable statutory rights.
Our voluntary 20-day returns policy may have conditions that apply to eligible change-of-mind returns, but those conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
10. Exchanges and replacements
We do not guarantee that we will provide an exchange for a change-of-mind return.
Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement, refund or another remedy.
For faulty or non-conforming goods, any repair or replacement rights you have under UK consumer law will not be affected by this policy.
11. Return instructions
Because orders may be fulfilled directly by third-party suppliers, the return address and return procedure may vary depending on the product and circumstances.
Do not send any item to our personal or residential address.
If a return is required, we will provide the appropriate return instructions after you contact us.
In some circumstances, we may not require the item to be returned and may instead issue a refund.
12. How to request a return or refund
Please contact us at:
Please include:
- your full name;
- order number;
- the item concerned;
- the reason for your request; and
- photographs or other evidence where the item is damaged, faulty or incorrect.
We will review your request and tell you whether the item needs to be returned and, if so, provide the appropriate return instructions.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
